What’s new with DAT’s tools? We’ve got the latest updates to the DAT platform, all of them aimed at reducing tedious tasks and creating simple, fast workflows.

If you’d rather, watch the webinar here.

Load posting enhancements for DAT One

We’ve got some exciting updates to load posting functionality. These enhancements allow brokers to post loads faster with fewer required fields. The improved interface offers a streamlined design while retaining advanced options like:

  • Private network audience targeting
  • Load post settings for “bookable” or “negotiable” options

The update ensures brokers can post loads in seconds, not minutes.

Advanced search tools

The webinar also showcased updates to the freight search experience, letting brokers quickly identify and compare carriers for their loads. Key improvements include:

  • Reorganized carrier details for easy access within search results
  • The ability to open and compare multiple search results simultaneously
  • Carrier qualification settings to filter results based on compliance settings like safety ratings, age of authority, and insurance status

These updates speed up and amend how brokers evaluate carriers, reducing the time spent qualifying partners.

Company Profile

Another big improvement is our Company Profile tool, aimed at consolidating essential data about carriers in one place. These profiles seamlessly integrate information from FMCSA and DAT’s database, providing:

  • Safety and inspection history
  • Insurance details and authority status
  • Operational insights, including areas where carriers frequently operate

With click-through capabilities from freight searches to detailed carrier profiles, DAT’s tools now make it easier than ever to get the transparency, trust, and facts you need to run your business.

Benchmark for brokers

DAT iQ Benchmark is designed with one key goal in mind—empowering brokers with actionable data insights. Benchmark is now advancing through its beta phase for brokers.

What is Benchmark?

Benchmark reflects your contribution data, offering powerful management reporting capabilities as well as deep-dive analytics. Whether you’re searching for high-level trends or lane-specific performance, Benchmark adapts to your needs by revealing both strategic insights and granular data. Benchmark offers:

  • Management reporting to answer questions about how your rates compare and if you’re performing better or worse over time.
  • Drill-down capabilities showing lane analysis, cost by attributes, over 25+ data filters, lane consistency metrics and more, all of it easily exported to Excel.

What’s next for Benchmark?

Some exciting features, such as map and horizontal bar chart visuals, are in beta testing with brokers and expected to launch in the next month. Keep an eye out for updates and new features as they roll out.

The new DAT iQ RateView experience

RateView is evolving. It’s now designed to better simplify how brokers use data to make decisions. The revamped platform serves as a direct replacement for the legacy RateView.

What’s new?

    • A new interface: Recent searches are now surfaced upfront, making it easy to revisit frequently used lanes. Essentials like toggling between “spot” and “contract” rates or filtering by shipper, broker, or carrier are more accessible.
  • New load contribution tools: This is where you’ll learn how your rates stack up against the market. Explore self-contributed data in greater detail with tables that allow you to sort by load date and carrier.
  • Context-rich quoting tools: The quote calculator, now paired with contextual maps, provides added depth for assessing rate flows between origin-destination pairs.

If you missed the live session or want to explore these features in detail, the webinar recording has been sent directly to all attendees via email. We’re also keen to hear your feedback on these updates—your insights help shape the future of DAT’s tools.
