No, it’s not that kind of hangover… I’ve survived my first Halloween at TransCore, and lived to tell the tale.

For the past 10 months I’ve heard how above-and-beyond Halloween is celebrated in our offices as each department completely transforms their workspace for one day. Per tradition the fate of the marketing department’s Halloween fell into the hands of the “new guys” (present company included). With a complimentary lunch party on the line, the three of us refused to let our coworkers down.

After weeks of planning, 30 generous pairs of hands, six hours on Sunday and two giant 10 foot snakes, we succeeded in transforming our office corner into a Beetlejuice-themed spooktacular and took first place!

We had some fierce competition! Here are some pictures from customer support and sales:

Everyone had a great time! We marched around the office to Harry Belafonte’s “Day-O”, played Halloween Trivia and I ate about as much candy as I gave out (one for you, two for me). While my stomach is still a little queasy from all the candy, and laughter, I can’t wait for next year! I think the Halloween 2012 planning committee will meet in a few days, the bar has been set high!
