Shelley Bower is DAT’s Vice President of Engineering, leading the engineering teams responsible for data centers, computing, networking, storage, data, search, monitoring, developer productivity, tooling, and corporate IT infrastructure.
Before joining DAT, Shelley spent over 20 years driving innovation in the technology industry, leading engineering, architecture, and technical program management at world-renowned companies. At AWS, she developed technology for satellite imagery retrieval through Ground Stations as a Service and created high-definition maps for German automakers’ autonomous driving programs at Here Technologies. During her time at Uber, Shelley spearheaded efforts to modularize the platform and advance autonomous driving initiatives for Artificial Intelligence. She led developer productivity enhancements and the early development of Spinnaker at Netflix, before co-founding a software consulting company that delivered tailored technology solutions for small businesses.
Shelley has a BS in Computer Science from Colorado State University and a BS in Architectural Engineering from the University of Wyoming.
